14-17 Feb. 2023 During the visit to Slovakia in order to meet public officials and experts, CPS vice president Armen Grigoryan on 14-15 February visited the campus of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. Possibilities of future cooperation were discussed with staff members of the Department of Regional Development and Public Economics at the Faculty of Economics; co-director of the Institute for Democracy, Dr Jozef Michal Mintal; and prorector, Professor Peter Terem.
On 16-17 February, several meetings took place in Bratislava. Armen Grigoryan discussed potential cooperation with Rasťo Kužel, executive director of MEMO 98; Col. Rastislav Janota, director of the Cyber Security Department of the Slovak National Security Authority; Amb. Petr Mareš, director of the International Visegrad Fund; Dr Alexander Duleba, senior fellow at the Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association; Dr Grigorij Mesežnikov, president of the Institute for Public Affairs; Katarina Klingová, senior research fellow of the Centre for Democracy & Resilience at the GLOBSEC Policy Institute; Tomáš Bokor, director of the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation – SlovakAid; briefed a group of experts from the Ministry of Defence of Slovakia on the security dynamics in the South Caucasus region after Russia’s war against Ukraine; briefed Matej Drotár, third secretary of the Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Department at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on the latest development in Armenia and the region. Additionally, he discussed the impact of the war in Ukraine on the South Caucasus region with members of the Young Leaders' Programme of the Strategic Analysis think tank.
This action is financially supported by the European Union within the framework of the Mobility Fund for CSO Experts within the Black Sea Region, implemented by FOND - the Romanian NGDO Platform as main coordinator of the Black Sea NGO Forum, in the context of the EU-funded project “Building CSO Capacity for Regional Cooperation within the Black Sea Region” (January 2022 – February 2023).
28-29 Nov. 2022 CPS vice president Armen Grigoryan participated in the panel discussion 'Russian imperial ambition derailing: consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine for the Eastern Partnership Region and the EU' during the Dialogue for Future 2022: 'Building resilient civil societies and defending democracies in the EU and its Eastern Neighbourhood' conference, organised on 28-29 November in Berlin by WECHANGE.
3-5 Sept. 2022 CPS vice president Armen Grigoryan participated in the conference Сultural Diplomacy to Counter Disinformation organised by the Crisis Simulation for Peace e.V. (CRISP).

20 May 2022 CPS vice president Armen Grigoryan participated in the 3rd Eastern partnership e-governance conference Disinformation in the digital age. Effects on democracy, state and society at University of Tartu.

29 July 2021 CPS organised a public discussion about the outcomes of a project implemented with support from the Open Society Foundations-Armenia. CPS researchers and partners presented their analyses of the programmes and rhetoric of political parties and alliances which took part in the snap parliamentary elections on 20 June.

17 Feb. 2021 We had the pleasure to co-host the National Consultation on Rule of Law in Armenia organised by the German Council on Foreign Relations within the Network of Think Tanks on the EU’s Eastern Partnership framework parallel with similar consultations in Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Outcomes will feed into the next high-level think tank event and expert workshop linked to the Eastern Partnership summit, which may take place towards the end of the Portuguese EU Presidency (May/June 2021).
